P&T = 100% disability not expected to improve. Unlocks: Chapter 35 DEA for spouse/children, CHAMPVA healthcare for dependents, property tax exemptions in many states, protection from future reductions.

Check va.gov benefits letter — it states whether your disabilities are permanent. If 100% but not P&T, you can request permanency review after 5+ years of stability.
