VA Disability and SSDI Together
You can get both — they don't offset
VA disability + SSDI: both simultaneously, neither reduces the other. Separate programs, separate funding.
Potential combined: 100% VA ($3,831/mo) + SSDI ($1,500–$3,800/mo depending on work history) = $5,331–$7,631/month.
SSI is different: SSI IS reduced by VA payments (means-tested). Most veterans with VA comp don't qualify for SSI anyway.

Strategy: if 100% P&T and unable to work, apply for SSDI. VA rating doesn't auto-qualify you (different criteria), but same medical evidence can support both applications.
