In-person: E-5 w/dep BAH at school's ZIP ($2,000–$5,000/month in high-cost areas). Online-only: ~$1,000/month flat regardless of location.

Strategic play: one in-person class per semester switches your entire enrollment to the higher rate. If >50% of credit hours are in-person, you get the in-person rate. Some programs have 'last mile' residency requirements — time these to maximize housing allowance.
